Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 3rd, because we're hosting a fantastic Spring Cleaning Yarn Swap right here at The Square Knot! It's a wonderful opportunity to refresh your collection, discover new treasures, and connect with other passionate yarn enthusiasts. Plus, it's free!
Here's the scoop:
We'll be hosting two separate swapping sessions to accommodate everyone's schedules:
- Session 1: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
- Session 2: 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Come to whichever session (or both!) works best for you.
The Rules of the Swap (to keep things smooth and enjoyable for everyone):
- Original Packaging Preferred: To ensure everyone is getting yarn in good condition, we kindly ask that all yarn brought for swapping is in its original packaging with labels intact. This helps everyone know the fiber content, weight, and yardage.
- Smoke-Free Only: Please only bring yarn that has been stored in a smoke-free environment. This is important for the comfort and well-being of all participants.
- Bring Your Treasures: Gather up those beautiful skeins, hanks, and balls that are just waiting for a new home. Maybe it's a color you don't love anymore, a fiber you haven't quite bonded with, or simply more than you'll ever need of a particular yarn.
