We're thrilled to announce that the wait is almost over! The Square Knot is officially opening its doors on Saturday, September 21st. We can't wait to welcome you all to our new shop and share our love of fiber arts.

Check out our new cozy sitting area at The Square Knot! We've recently set it up and couldn't be happier with the result. It's the perfect spot for our patrons to relax, chat, or join our crafting circles.

Meet the Team

Behind The Square Knot are three passionate women dedicated to bringing you the best in yarn and needlework supplies.

Melissa: Our owner and manager, Melissa (Left), has been a lifelong resident of McDonough. With over 25 years of experience in cross stitching, she's excited to create a local space for fellow enthusiasts to gather and share their craft.

Lillian: Our assistant and social media manager, Lillian (Right), started to knit and crochet as a result of the Covid Lockdown. Her father taught her to knit in 2020, and her mother taught her to crochet in 2022.

Maria: Our back-office manager, Maria (Center), has been crocheting and knitting for almost two decades. Maria taught herself to crochet while being at stay-at-home mom. Later, her husband taught her how to knit so she could make Doctor Who & Sherlock themed knitwear. She collects new skills as she finds projects she likes and require her skills to grow.

We are eager to learn more from the community we have come to love.
